Moses' blessing and death — a vista, not an arrival

The most tender sentence in Deuteronomy 34 is six words long. The LORD buried him (Deut 34:6, paraphrased).

Moses dies on a mountain alone. The Father Himself digs the grave. No one knows where it is. The Father takes care of His servant in a way no one would even see.

Most men live in fear of being forgotten at the end. They build legacies, accumulate platforms, ensure their name will outlast them. The Father’s care for Moses is the answer to that fear.

You don’t have to be remembered by the world. You will be remembered by Him. He will dig the grave Himself if it comes to that. He has been with you in the wilderness. He will not abandon you in the death.

One small thing today: in a place where you have been performing for legacy, let it go. The Father will bury you with His own hands when the time comes. He has not forgotten His servants yet. He will not forget you.
