Through the lens of Young adult
Blessings and curses — the shape of covenant
Some of the heaviest weights you carry as a young adult are curses you didn’t choose. A family pattern. A generational sin. A diagnosis that runs in your blood. A wound from a parent. A trauma from a season before you were grown enough to understand it.
Galatians 3:13 says — Christ redeemed us from the curse.
You don’t have to live under what came down to you. The curses of Deuteronomy 28 — and the curses of your own family line — were absorbed in His body on the tree.
This is not magical thinking. The patterns may still need to be worked through. The healing may take time. But the spiritual weight of the curse is no longer yours. Christ took it.
One small thing today: name one curse that has been over you that you didn’t choose. Hand it to Christ specifically. He took this. I don’t have to carry it anymore. Walk in that knowledge today.
