Balaam — the donkey and the unwilling blessing

You are at an age where words spoken over you stick. You’re not enough. You’re too much. You’re behind. You’ll never. You always.

Some of those words came from people who loved you and still wounded you. Some from people who didn’t love you at all. Some from your own head. The voices have stacked up.

Numbers 22–24 says one thing about every word of curse. They cannot stick when God has blessed.

Balak hired the best curse-prophet money could buy. He paid him. He brought him three times. He kept trying. Every word came out a blessing. The curse could not get past the blessing the Father had already spoken.

Christ has spoken blessing over you. You are loved. You are seen. You are bought. You are mine. No word the world has spoken can override what He has declared.

One small thing today: name one curse you have been carrying — a word someone spoke over you that has stuck. Speak the Father’s blessing over yourself out loud in its place. No magic charm works against the family of God.
