Through the lens of Woman
The cloud and the trumpets — God's leading
The Father gave Israel two ways to know His leading. The cloud, which they watched. The trumpet, which they heard.
Many women carry an outsized capacity for the audible signals — the ones that come through hearing rather than sight. A word from a friend. A line in a song. A verse that won’t leave you alone. A whisper at 3 AM. The trumpet is real. It often plays for women in particular.
Most cultures are not trained to honor what women hear. The audible signals get dismissed. Intuition. Feelings. Emotional sensitivity. The same culture that praises strategic men can quietly silence prophetic women.
Numbers 10 says no. The trumpet is one of God’s two main ways of leading His people. Listening is not a lesser gift than seeing. Hearing the Father is not a feminine weakness. It is one of the trumpets.
One small thing today: name one trumpet you have been hearing — a recurring impression, a verse, a word from a friend, an unshakable nudge. Don’t dismiss it. Bring it to the Father. Ask Him to confirm. The trumpet is real.
