Through the lens of Woman

Glory fills the tabernacle

The glory filled the tabernacle — the dwelling place. The home of God among His people.

Throughout Scripture, women have been the primary tenders of the dwelling place. The home. The hearts of the children. The hospitality of the church. The relationships of the community. The Father fills what is tended. The glory descends where someone has prepared a place for Him.

If you have been the tender — the one keeping the home running, the one praying for the kids, the one welcoming the neighbor, the one carrying the church family in your prayer journal — the Father fills what you tend. The glory does not come because you performed. It comes because you prepared a dwelling.

One small thing today: in the place you are most tending — your home, a friendship, a small group, a child, a hard relationship — pause and pray, Lord, fill this dwelling place. Then keep tending. The cloud comes to spaces that have been prepared for it.
