Tabernacle — a portable Eden

The tabernacle was portable Eden. God’s dwelling, on the move with His people.

Marriage is one of the smallest, truest portable Edens the Father has built into the world. Two people building a dwelling together. Furniture, rhythms, traditions, meals — all of it shaping a place where God can be encountered. The home is not just a building. It is a tabernacle.

The way you arrange a Sabbath. The prayers you say at the table. The art on your walls. The way you welcome guests. The discipline you practice with your kids. The forgiveness you offer one another. Every detail is part of the dwelling place.

One small thing this week: pick one corner of your shared life that has felt cluttered or hurried — a room, a routine, a tradition — and re-tabernacle it. Make it more hospitable to God’s presence. The Father still moves into the spaces His people prepare for Him.
