The Red Sea and the Song of the Sea
Most of us assume that faith is seeing the path before you walk it. The Red Sea says no.
The sea did not part until Moses raised his staff. The path did not open until Israel stepped toward the water. The miracle was not in the planning. It was in the walking.
You are at an age where you want a clear path before you commit. Tell me how it ends. Tell me it works. Tell me it’s safe. Then I’ll go. The Father rarely operates that way. He more often says stand firm. Be quiet. Watch. And the sea opens once you start walking.
There are seas in your future where you will not see the path until you have already taken steps into the water. The sea is not the obstacle. It is the invitation.
One small thing today: name the sea in front of you that has been keeping you from moving. Take one small step toward it. Don’t wait for it to part first. The path opens for the people who walk.
