The binding of Isaac

Abraham is told to climb Mt. Moriah without knowing how the story ends. He doesn’t know there is a ram in the thicket waiting. He doesn’t know an angel is going to call out. He just walks. Up. With his son. With wood. With a knife. Three days of walking. Without knowing.

You are in a season where the Father is going to ask you to do at least one thing without knowing how it ends. Take this job. Don’t take that one. Move there. Stay here. Have that conversation. End that thing. Begin that thing.

If you wait until you can see the outcome, you will never go.

Abraham’s faith was not certainty about the result. It was confidence in the One who was sending him. He believed God could raise the dead — so even if the worst happened, the Father would still be the Father.

One small thing today: name one go where you have been waiting for guarantees. The Father is not promising guarantees. He is promising Himself. Walk anyway.
